We have focused on the development of 3-D 6-axis robot guidance applications and technology since 1988. The VSII technology is extremely flexible and can be used for precise 3-D guidance and measurement. VSII supports stereo vision, laser based structured light and single camera configurations. These can be fixed camera or robot mounted.

Originally developed on proprietary platforms for automotive and defense applications in the 1980’s, VSII’s technology has migrated from proprietary specialized hardware platforms to the PC based offerings in the 1990’s. VSII’s latest technology platform, called VisionHub, migrates to the next generation platform of networked intelligent cameras. We believe that this platform allows us to achieve the most cost effective combination of flexibility, reliability, performance and ease-of-use available on the market today.
