Tim has been producing vision guided vision technologies for over 20 years. He helped pioneer the technology with Machine Vision International in the early to mid 80’s and has continued his contribution to the maturation of the technology as a principal in two vision companies, Automation Control Engineering and VSII.  Tim is the developer of VSII’s VisionHub system architecture.

Andy has experience as VP Sales and Marketing for technology companies such as Machine Vision International and Medar, Inc., and as CEO, has guided two technical companies from startup to successful small businesses. These were SVS, a vision company specializing in electronic manufacturing inspection, which was sold to View Engineering, and Autospec, a vision company selling paint inspection systems to the automotive industry, which was sold to Perceptron.

Currently, Matt's primary areas of responsibility include project management, market needs analysis, product functional requirements specifications, new business development and procurement of R&D funding. Matt has been working in the machine vision field for nearly 25 years. He has extensive experience as an end user with 17 years at GM and Ford and as a system supplier with 6 years at Perceptron. Matt has a master's degree in economics from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

At VSI Robert is responsible for product requirements, specifications, and project management. Robert graduated from the University of Michigan in 1979 with dual bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Science. Robert has worked in the machine vision and automated optical inspection industry for the past 24 years. For much of that time he worked on the design and development of 3D Automated Optical Inspection systems as an Engineer, Applications Manager, Software Manager, and Marketing Manager for GSI Lumonics. Robert is named as either an inventor or co-inventor on several patents related to this equipment. He has also authored numerous papers and articles on these topics.

Don is responsible for engineering and project management at VSII. Don has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, with graduate work in Machine Vision at University of Pittsburgh. Don worked in some form of engineering capacity for 18 years on product development on systems using 3D vision sensors for electronics inspection at GSI Lumonics. Don's last position at GSI Lumonics was Director of Engineering for the Electronics Division. Don is co-inventor on 7 patents in the vision and inspection areas.
